Riggwelter is proud to announce our first selection of nominees for the Pushcart Prize. The Pushcart Prize: Best of the Small Presses series is an anthology published once a year in America. Any small press (print or online) is welcome to nominate six pieces of work for potential publication in the issue. It’s a very prestigious award for a poet or short-fiction writer to receive.
From our 2017 publications, we have nominated the following pieces of work.
- Your Daughter is an Armadillo by Cathy Ulrich (short fiction, from Riggwelter #1)
- When You’re Down, You’re Up by Damhnait Monoghan (short fiction, from Riggwelter #1)
- Apogee by Rebecca Roy (poetry, from Riggwelter #2)
- The Garden Babies’ Testimony by Sheila Hamilton (poetry, from Riggwelter #3)
- Heading West During The Solar Eclipse by Paige Leland (poetry, from Riggwelter #3)
- Oxidised by Sarah Little (short fiction, from Riggwelter #4)
Congratulations to all six fabulous writers. We’re crossing our fingers that we’ll see their work in the anthology.
Nice to have found you on my travels, appears most interesting.
